Workbench 2.0 XFCE theme

Originally this was just a fun little Workbench 2.0 style xfwm4 theme I knocked out one bored evening. I've subsequently merged in a pair of external gtk themes for various flavours of AmigaOS. It isn't completely consistent and the gtk2 theme is a little garish but at least it makes most applications readable.

Various gtk2 and gtk3 apps, including a focused window using client-side-decorations. The background colour was loosely inspiried by the SGI Indigo boot screen which I always found particularly æstheticly pleasing.

The following is a grab of the settings i'm using for the theme in the WindowManager configuration.

I also prefer similar grey backgrounds for all applications but setting those is usually per-application and a right pain in the arse.

Screenshots

Some more screenshots to pad out the page. These are a bit darker than what I use now, I guess I had a bright monitor at the time.

Status

Only close, pin, zap, and depth buttons have been defined. Well, the others are pointless.

Not every function perfectly maps to existing window managers so i've mapped the depth gadget to minimise, and the zap gadget to maximise.

The zap and depth button internals are the same size as the Workbench2.0 gadget imagery but they can probably be increased in height by 2 pixels each to fit the dimensions better.

The gtk themes aren't quite in sync, they use some different buttons and colours, and CSD theming seems ... troublesome. I may work on cleaning them up, or I may not.

License

The gtk-2.0 theme is licensed as GNU General Public License 2.0 and the rest is public domain.

Downloads

This was originally just a simple tar file but since I've added gtk3 themes it's moved the repository.
